Skip: When we send you a trip offer and you don't accept the trip, that counts as a skip. This may happen if you don't hear the trip offer alert or if you are running the Veyo app in the background.
Decline: When we send you a trip offer and you decline the trip, that counts as a decline.
If you have a higher than average skip/decline rate, your account may be flagged by our system. This is to ensure that passengers get to their medical appointments on-time by reliable IDP's. (Please note, cancellations and duplicate trips do not impact your skip/decline rates.)
As a reminder, when you have set your status to "Online", you are expected to accept trip offers that come through the Veyo app. Failing to respond to (skipping or ignoring) a trip offer can adversely affect the passenger and client service level by slowing down the process and leading to missed trips. Multiple skips or declines in a short period of time may result in limited access to trips coming through the Veyo system. If you are unable to take a trip at a given time, please set your app status to “Offline.”
